Humanities, Social Sciences and Arts

The Human Sciences area at UNICAMP is made up of the Faculty of Education - FE, Institute of Arts - IA, Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences - IFCH, Institute of Economics - IE, Institute of Language Studies - IEL.

Research activities in this area result in scientific production of excellent quality, thanks to: good research infrastructure, excellent libraries, quality collections, capacity of the teaching staff to obtain resources for research and, above all, quality of teaching staff, technical-administrative students.

The specificity and diversity of research topics covered mean that various advertising vehicles attest to the quality and excellence of the scientific, cultural and artistic production in the area.

In particular, books, book chapters and scientific articles are among the most important for the Humanities Units, adding to the relevance of artistic works, presentations and events for the Institute of Arts.
