The Council of Rectors of São Paulo State Universities (Cruesp) released a statement this Thursday (16), presenting the result of the meeting with the Forum of the Six, in which the salary adjustment was discussed.

Cruesp, in a meeting held on this date with the Fórum das Seis, proposes a 5% salary adjustment, starting in May 2024, for teachers and technical and administrative employees at São Paulo State Universities.
It is important to highlight that USP and Unicamp will present the adjustment index proposed by Cruesp to their respective Budget and Equity Committees and University Councils, for approval, this May.
Thus, Cruesp confirms its commitment to preserving the purchasing power of salaries and, at the same time, maintaining the budgetary and financial balance of Universities.
