Next Sunday (December 1st) and Monday (December 2nd), 13.011 candidates are expected to take the second phase of the Unicamp 2025 Entrance Exam. They will compete for 2.537 places in 69 undergraduate courses at the University. The second phase will take place in 22 cities in the country: in the capitals Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Salvador and São Paulo; and in another 16 cities in São Paulo: Bauru, Campinas, Guarulhos, Jundiaí, Limeira, Mogi Guaçu, Osasco, Piracicaba, Presidente Prudente, Ribeirão Preto, Santo André, Santos, São Carlos, São José do Rio Preto, São José dos Campos and Sorocaba.
Candidates are advised to arrive at the test site at 8:9 a.m. (Brasília time), as access to these locations will be permitted until XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. (Brasília time) without fail. The exam will last five hours on each test day. The minimum time required to remain in the room is two hours.
The Permanent Commission for Entrance Exams (Comvest) of Unicamp emphasizes that candidates must individually consult the test locations, as the locations will not necessarily be the same as in the first phase. Second stage
The second phase, which lasts five hours each day, consists of tests with essay questions. The tests have a common part for all candidates and a diversified part, according to the area of knowledge of the course chosen as the first option (Biological Sciences/Health; Exact Sciences/Technological Sciences; Humanities/Arts). Each essay question is worth four points – each contains two items, worth two points each. The tests are distributed as follows:
First day – tests common to all candidates:
Writing Test (composed of two text proposals for the candidate to choose and execute just one proposal);
Portuguese Language and Portuguese Language Literature Test, with six questions;
Interdisciplinary test with two English Language questions and two interdisciplinary Natural Sciences questions.
Second day – tests common to all candidates:
Mathematics Test: with six questions for courses in the Exact/Technological Sciences areas; four questions for courses in the Biological/Health Sciences areas; and four questions for courses in the Humanities/Arts areas.
Interdisciplinary Test: with two interdisciplinary questions from Human Sciences.
Second day – tests of specific knowledge, depending on the course option:
Candidates in the area of Biological Sciences/Health: Biology test, with eight questions; Chemistry test, with six questions.
Candidates in the Exact/Technological Sciences area: Physics test, with six questions; Chemistry test, with six questions.
Candidates in the Humanities/Arts area: Geography test, with six questions; History test, with six questions; Philosophy test, with one question; Sociology test, with one question.
What to take
Candidates must bring the original ID document indicated in the application, black pens in transparent material, black pencil and eraser. The use of a transparent ruler and compass is permitted. The use of cell phones, watches of any kind and any other electronic equipment, correction fluid, mechanical pencil, highlighter pen, cap, hat or other materials not related to the test is prohibited. The following are permitted: water, juices, chocolates and light foods.

The Specific Skills Tests for the Architecture and Urban Planning, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Dance courses will be held between December 11th and 13th, only in Campinas. The first call will be announced on January 24th. Those called must register online (not in person) on January 27th and 28th, through the Comvest website.
