Unicamp's Teaching and Learning Support Space (EA)² has just launched three e-books on skills, digital technologies and pedagogical practices. Available for free at [EA]² website, the works bring together research, experiences and reflections produced by professors and specialists from Unicamp and other Brazilian and foreign institutions.

According to the collection's organizers, the (EA)² coordinator, Sílvio Consonni, and the professor at the Faculty of Education (FE) Arnaldo Pinto Jr., the texts bring reflections on the importance of continuous teacher training processes for working in higher education.
“Our main intention with the works is to qualify teaching in undergraduate courses, an increasingly pressing demand in educational debates around the world,” they said in a statement.
For the launch of the e-books, (EA)² brought together authors, teachers and education specialists on the 24th, to discuss the importance of publications for strengthening pedagogical practices and the debate on university teaching.
Check out the summary of the e-books:

“Artificial Intelligence, Skills and Digital Technologies in Higher Education”
The e-book brings together five chapters that discuss the relationships between AI, digital skills and teaching practices. It was prepared based on discussions held at the first international conference promoted in 2024 by the Higher Education Support Network (RedAES), an initiative that brings together nine public institutions based in the state of São Paulo with the aim of strengthening teacher training in Higher Education.
The book explains the network's objectives and the debates surrounding it, highlighting issues related to the critical and ethical use of generative artificial intelligence platforms, as well as their interfaces with digital skills and technologies in higher education.
The five chapters discuss topics such as professional teaching knowledge, video games in learning, applications of Generative AI, playfulness in digital environments and the perspective of OnLIFE Education, contributing to the improvement of pedagogical practices in undergraduate courses, especially in contexts marked by sociocultural inequalities.
