O Inova Jovem program, an entrepreneurship competition aimed at regular and technical high school students from all over Brazil, promoted by the Innovation Agency of the State University of Campinas. (Inova Unicamp), It is nearing its final stages. This year, the program achieved a record in national reach, with participants from 13 Brazilian states, representing the five different regions of the country. Among the 111 registered teams, six finalists advance to the program's grand final.

“It’s gratifying to see so many students developing their entrepreneurial skills and realizing that entrepreneurship can indeed be a viable career option. The program is part of Inova Unicamp’s communication efforts aimed at fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among participants,” says Kátia Kishi, Inova Unicamp’s communication supervisor and organizer of the competition.

The Inova Jovem final will take place online on November 18th and will be open to anyone interested in seeing the finalist projects. The teams will compete in two categories: Jury Evaluation and Popular Vote. The first is decided by a jury, while the second is chosen by the live audience who can vote for the best presentation. pitch.

In the Panel Evaluation category, each member of the winning team receives one thousand reais (gross amount), a certificate of winners of the edition, and one year of access to the courses of [company name/organization name]. FM2S – Education and Consulting and a high-power internet router offered by Neger Telecom, both sponsors of the competition. In the Popular Vote category, the winners gain access for six months to FM2S's online courses and a certificate of recognition for the category.

The students participated in a two-month training program on socio-environmental impact entrepreneurship, covering topics such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and business modeling using the tool. About Inova Jovem

The Inova Jovem program, created and organized annually by the Inova Unicamp Innovation Agency, is a national entrepreneurship competition designed to empower students enrolled in regular or technical high school programs in business modeling and innovation. In 11 years, the program has attracted more than 4.500 participants. 

The competition has been held entirely virtually since 2020, allowing students from any region of the country to register. In addition, the program offers simultaneous sign language interpretation at all its events.

The program is free and is part of Inova Unicamp's communication efforts to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among participants.
