The Permanent Commission for Entrance Examinations at Unicamp (Comvest) has released the locations for the application of the Unified Indigenous Entrance Examination Unicamp–UFSCar 2026. The exam will be held on January 11, 2026, in five Brazilian cities: Campinas (SP), Recife (PE), Santarém (PA), São Gabriel da Cachoeira (AM), and Tabatinga (AM).

The 2026 edition has registered 2.037 candidates from different ethnic backgrounds and regions of the country. The city of Campo Grande (MS), initially planned, will not host the exams because it did not reach the minimum of 60 registered candidates, as established in the announcement.

At Unicamp, this will be the eighth edition of the entrance exam, with 130 places distributed across all undergraduate courses, while at UFSCar it will be the 19th edition, with up to 65 places available.

The exams will begin at 13 PM, local time in each city, and will last four hours. The exam will be conducted in Portuguese and will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions and an essay, covering the areas of Languages and Codes (14 questions), Natural Sciences (12), Mathematics (12), and Human Sciences (12).

Comvest advises candidates to arrive early, as access to the test locations will only be permitted until 13 PM, without exception. To take the exam, it is mandatory to present the original identity document indicated on the registration, as well as a black pen in a transparent casing, a black pencil, and an eraser. Analog watches are permitted. Electronic devices, cell phones, digital watches, correction fluid, mechanical pencils, highlighters, caps, hats, and other unauthorized items are prohibited.

Comvest also informs that it will not be necessary to present, on the day of the exam, the documentation proving indigenous ethnicity, which should only be submitted at the time of registration.

The first list of candidates called for enrollment will be released on February 2, 2026, on the Comvest website. Enrollment for this call must be completed online between February 3 and 4. Up to five calls are planned, according to the official entrance exam calendar.
