Due to the enactment of Complementary Law No. 226, of January 12, 2026, which revoked the prohibition previously provided for in item IX of the caput of article 8 of Complementary Law No. 173/2020, it is now permitted to count the time of service in the period from May 28, 2020 to December 31, 2021, a period that had been suspended due to the public calamity related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The university will initiate the necessary internal procedures for recalculating length of service, which will affect the granting of seniority bonuses, the sixth-part bonus, and leave awards, as applicable.
New guidelines and information regarding the form and timeline for implementing the adjustments will be released in due course by the General Directorate of Human Resources (DGRH).
