DGRH releases supplementary note on Complementary Law 226/2026

The DGRH has already initiated the necessary procedures for the resumption of the suspended period. New seniority bonuses and the sixth part of the salary increase generated by the reinstatement of this period will be paid starting with the attendance calculation for January 2026 – corresponding to February 2026 and credited in March 2026 – as per [according to the relevant regulations]. Schedule SIARH. The employees who were hired during and after the validity of LC No. 173/2020 Those who submitted a certificate of public service time that considered the suspension of the counting must request a review of the document from the originating body, to include the reinstatement of the period and the respective attestation of attendance.

Regarding the payment of retroactive amounts, that is, before January 2026, the University is conducting a financial feasibility study and, as required by law, authorization will depend on budgetary availability.
