Intellectual Production
Definition
- Production encompasses a wide range of achievements and distinct author specifications
Responsibility for maintaining data
- Teacher responsible for production or authorized person from the unit or department
General Production Maintenance Rules:
- To maintain (include, change, exclude) an intellectual production, the first screen provides specific data on the type of production selected and, on the second screen, other production information, such as participants, credit agencies, line of research, etc..Note that the second screen is the same for all types of production available in Sipex, with the specificity of each one being on the first screen.
When the authorized person of a unit or department is to update the production of a specific researcher, before choosing the type of intellectual production, he or she must select the desired researcher.
The teaching researcher must always place other researchers as participants in the production, whether they are teachers, students or other types, thus having a single registration of that production.
The selected researcher will be automatically included as a participant and cannot be excluded of this production.
A professor may include the productions of his student researchers and associates, but only those authorized by the body may change or delete them.
Intellectual production will have the following statuses for each type:
Bibliographic = accepted and published
Artistic = completed/published
Technique = completedThe system will refuse the same production title for the same researcher and date (month/year), except for the Bibliographic Productions of the Article type (in addition to the previous validations, the periodical, volume and home page entered will also be checked, refusing if they are the same) and Technical Productions such as Participation in an Event with Work Presentation (in addition to the previous validations, the reported event will also be checked, refusing if they are the same)
It is very important to link productions to credit bodies, lines of research, projects, Capes Program/concentration area, thesis, area of knowledge. This information is not mandatory, but for certain Sipex products it is essential.
The registration of the selected teacher will be registered upon inclusion and only he or the person authorized to maintain his data in the system will be able to change or delete this production.
If the production is only by researchers of the Student or Associate type, it will not be recorded who was included. Any non-teaching person authorized to maintain this researcher's data may alter or delete this production. Even if a teacher has included it, they cannot change or delete this production
Export to Capes
- Find out the rules so that a certain production can be exported to Capes.
