Unicamp Health Surveillance Application - EducaSaúde

The “EducaSaúde” tool aims to complement COVID-19 epidemiological surveillance measures on Unicamp campuses, monitoring in real time the occurrence of new cases and outbreaks among members of the university community. To do this, it has the following functions:

- identify early, through a daily symptomatological survey, the occurrence of suspected cases, for immediate removal, testing and appropriate monitoring;

- guide the user regarding the need to seek medical assistance and the urgency, or not, of this need;

- enable the tracking and early identification of other positive cases of COVID-19 that may have originated from the application user's contacts with other people, adopting appropriate strategies to prevent their spread on campuses and beyond.

The use of the application, together with mass testing and recommended health measures to prevent COVID-19, constitutes a crucial strategy to reduce the transmission of coronavirus in the university environment.
