Reorganizing the crisis response and preparing for the future
Unicamp developed a plan to reorganize the fight against the pandemic and prepare future actions, taking into account the continuity of the crisis and its transition to the so-called “new normal”.
The Plan is based on experiences from other countries and the protocols of the World Health Organization (WHO), Ministry of Health and Government of the State of São Paulo, which establishes the following guidelines for universities:
1- Preserve and encourage the maintenance of remote activities until the end of the semester.
2 - For essential face-to-face activities, return staggered at 2-week intervals:
• Phase 1: 20% of students (campuses and/or units), without activities with physical contact;
• Phase 2: up to 50% of students, physical contact/sports in open spaces;
• Phase 3: released to return with personal hygiene care and health control.
Unicamp maintains extension of Period 3 of Phase 2 of the Recovery Plan for an indefinite period
See below the details of the plan and the reports of the Working Groups that developed the guidelines for the university community.
