The professor is the first Latin American woman elected to the Académie Internationale de Philosophie des Sciences, and is a full professor in Logic and Fundamentals of Mathematics at the Department of Philosophy at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), founding member of the Center for Logic, Epistemology and History of Science (CLE) at Unicamp and the Brazilian Logic Society (SBL).
