Flor da Selva: collection highlights female protagonism in the Manaus music scene

“At a time when discussions on topics such as the importance of the Amazon for the world, diversity and gender equality are setting the tone, a project like this is urgent and necessary. There are five works with completely different aesthetic proposals that, in the political dimension, converge in a very similar direction”, explains artist Karine Aguiar, who is also a PhD student in Music at Unicamp.
