A new city model

The geographer and professor at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), Eduardo Marandola Junior, explains that dispersed cities are a complex urban and social phenomenon. They can be described as a different model from that consolidated during the industrialization process, a period in which the predominant idea was that cities should concentrate capital, people and knowledge.
