Application uses computer vision to identify lost animals

The Zoonosis Control Center in the São Paulo municipality of Vinhedo began a census of animals participating in vaccination campaigns in July. The objective is to maintain an updated registry to control the population of lost and abandoned animals on the streets. Identification and registration are being carried out with the help of the CrowdPet application, developed by SciPet, one of the daughter companies of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp).
