The speaker, Patrícia Tavares Magalhães de Toledo, from Unicamp, highlighted the importance of Innovation Management in Universities. “Postgraduate studies are totally involved with innovation, because postgraduate studies are where major research is carried out, postgraduate courses are the locus of the university that deals most with innovation, so researchers have to be attentive to know how to evaluate whether the result of a research is innovative if it is doing something that does not exist in the world, such as protecting the result of a research. The idea is to raise awareness and create this culture here at UEMS, so that you can better structure yourself to contribute to the innovation process”, said Patrícia.
