Summary
Since October, the “SOS Chuva” application can be downloaded for free on smartphones and already has more than 60 thousand users. The tool was developed by scientists from Inpe (National Institute for Space Research) in collaboration with Unicamp (State University of Campinas), the Luiz de Queiroz Higher School of Agriculture and the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences, both at USP (University of São Paulo).
