According to data from the Center for Meteorological and Climate Research Applied to Agriculture (Cepagri), the temperature in Campinas has been rising over the last two decades. Although the January 2018 average was below previous years, the last eight years have recorded the highest heat averages in history. From January 1988 to December 1997, no summer month (December, January and February) recorded more than 31 degrees.
