Summary
Although the tax incentive model is producing results, it is still far from ideal. According to research carried out by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), in partnership with the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL) and the economics institutes of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and the Unicamp, advanced manufacturing in Brazil today only accounts for 1,6% of the industry.
