Summary

An unprecedented study launched this Thursday (22) by the Population Studies Center “Elza Berquó” (Nepo), at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), points out that, unlike what happened in the 19th and 20th centuries, when migratory flows were concentrated in the capitals, mainly in São Paulo, in the contemporary scenario they have moved to the interior, following the distribution of transnational companies to these locations.
