Jundiaí graffiti artists go beyond social prejudices

"Graffiti emerged as a form of contestation and transgression and continues to be and probably always will be. Not only because this type of manifestation manages to expose the social criticisms of the artists who use it, but also because it is located on the margins, using spaces that are almost never institutionalized for art", says Fabiano Ormaneze, 35 years old, researcher at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and the Sorbonne-Nouvelle University in Paris.
