A master's thesis presented at the Institute of Arts (IA) of Unicamp classifies San'Anna Gomes as an authentic cultural vector. Musician Alexandre José de Abreu, author of the research (and bassoonist at the Campinas Symphony Orchestra), pointed out that the composer did not receive the deserved distinction due to the value that his works actually conveyed.
