Summary

“Nature was interesting based on its various qualifications. In other words, the drawings and watercolors that Florence and others made portrayed the fauna, flora, natural landscape and population of the places they were visiting. At the time, the Fine Arts academies (in Europe) worked with these elements for the visual training of their students, future masters, painters, scientists, photographers”, explains professor Sylvia Furegatti, from the Institute of Arts (IA) at the State University from Campinas (Unicamp).
