The RPT (Textile Hub Region) has received, in recent years, several immigrants from countries where Spanish is the official language. At least 776 people came from Haiti, Bolivia and Chile in 2016, according to a survey carried out by Nepo (Population Studies Center) of the Unicamp (State University of Campinas) for the Migration Observatory Thematic Atlas. The language is part of the culture of a place, and to understand the nuances of Spanish, as well as the different societies in which the language is inserted, an exhibition will be held in Nova Odessa.
