Karnal: Revolutions will only last if they are based on education

In an interview with journalist Mauricio Lima, editor-in-chief and columnist at VEJA, Karnal spoke about the topic “Knowledge is the only revolution”. For the teacher of Unicamp, educational institutions are falling behind in relation to the changes caused by the presence of cell phones. “The school still has a long way to go towards incorporating a new standard of knowledge”, he observes. “This is the first time in history that I have no idea what will be useful in 40 years”, he says about the large volume of information that people are exposed to daily.
