Artists and intellectuals talk about the importance of 'Surviving in Hell', by Racionais

Twenty years after the release of Sobrevivendo no Inferno, by Racionais MC's, the album was included as mandatory reading for the entrance exam at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). The album, which has songs such as “Diário de um detento” and “Capítulo 4, verso 3”, makes direct references to violence, exclusion, lack of opportunity and racism suffered by black and peripheral youth.
