In view of this, researcher Tatiana Rocha de Souza, professor of the Mathematics Degree course at the Center for Exact and Applied Social Sciences (CCEA), Campus VII of the State University of Paraíba (UEPB), in Patos, lover of the science of logical reasoning and abstract, concerned with showing the importance of integrative medicine in cancer treatment, defended, on May 18, her PhD thesis in Applied Mathematics, entitled “Tumor dynamics and noetics”. The work is the result of the professor's doctorate from the Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Scientific Computing at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp).
