Summary
The personal collection of Antonio Candido and Gilda de Mello e Souza was donated to the Institute of Brazilian Studies of the University of São Paulo (IEB-USP) last year, and with support from Itaú Cultural it is receiving the necessary technical processing to be opened to researchers and readers. With 126 notebooks by Candido (from a total of 45 thousand textual items), 5 thousand photos, at least 800 vinyls and cassettes, the collection should be available in 2019. The author's library - the 6,1 thousand books that he selected and kept until the end of his life - it will be donated to the Unicamp.
