'Politicians are lobbying in disguise' says ethics professor on agency appointments

The professor of Ethics and Politics at the University of Campinas (Unicamp) Roberto Romano assesses that the political allocation of federal regulatory agencies harms the services provided by the bodies. According to him, the appointments interfere with the independence of the directors, who need to “be accountable to a political colonel”.
