Summary

Although the rainfall was brief, there were records of winds of up to 40 km/h, which caused trees to fall. Yesterday it rained again in Campinas, but the volume, just 1 millimeter, was considered negligible by the Civil Defense. The highest concentration of precipitation occurred in the southern region of the city, which covers the Center and the neighborhoods surrounding it. The Center for Applied Research in Agriculture (Cepagri), which is located at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), for example, recorded zero millimeters of rain in Barão Geraldo yesterday.
