The 10th DPCT/IG Bulletin discusses the political use of misinformation related to chloroquine as a form of treatment for Covid-19. The spread of misinformation about the use of the substance fueled a rush to pharmacies in March, the shortage of the medicine promoted self-medication, increased the cost of inputs used in manufacturing and caused serious accidents.

The Bulletin was produced by the Study Group on Disinformation on Social Networks (EDReS) at Unicamp.
