The 9th Covid-19 DPCT/IG Bulletin analyzes the influence of the pandemic on the activities and performance of the Brazilian agricultural sector, mapping the perspectives identified by experts and in the literature. Although the sector, as a whole, reacted positively to the events, the impacts were quite different in each production chain, given some preventive actions taken such as: social isolation measures, the shutdown of the restaurant, hotel and events and the closure of international borders in some countries.

In this context of crisis, resilience appears as an important characteristic for the survival of businesses, both during and after the pandemic, with a focus on their long-term prosperity, given the expectation of changes (still quite uncertain) in the competitive and in behavior.
