1st National Embroidery Seminar - The Coordination of Community Affairs (CAC), a body of the Dean of Extension and Community Affairs (Preac), organizes on the 24th and 25th of November, in auditoriums 1 and 2 of the Unicamp Convention Center, the 1st National Embroidery Seminar at Unicamp. Registration, open since August 25th, can be done at link, in groups or individually, and it is possible to submit up to three works, in the following thematic areas: Culture, Art and creative processes; Education, Philosophy, territoriality; Health and quality of life, and Creative economy, social inclusion and generation of employment and income. Cycle of debates about high school - Registration is open for the Cycle of debates on secondary education entitled “Common national basis of the curriculum: what game is this?”, an event to be held on November 25th, from 9 am to 12 pm, in the auditorium of the Institute of Mathematics , Statistics and Scientific Computing (Imecc) at Unicamp. The Cycle is promoted by the Social Sciences and Education Research Line of the Faculty of Education (FE) at Unicamp in conjunction with the Interinstitutional Group for Secondary Education in Research (EMpesquisa) and the Secondary Education Observatory of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). Current thinking of Celso Furtado - The Department of Scientific and Technological Policy (DPCT) of the Geosciences Institute (IG) at Unicamp organizes an event in memory of the tenth anniversary of the death of economist Celso Furtado. It will be on November 26th, at 9 am, in the auditorium of the Institute of Economics (IE) at Unicamp. The objective is to discuss the current state of Furtadian thought and its main contributions in fields such as Brazilian Economic History and the relationship between Science, Technology and Development. 20 years of Rua - The Urban Studies Laboratory (Labeurb) organizes in its auditorium, on November 26th, at 9 am, an event to celebrate the 20 years of existence of “Rua” Magazine. The event aims to reflect on scientific policies and the circulation of knowledge, debating the role of scientific journals in the relationship between the production, evaluation and circulation of knowledge in the area of Human Sciences. The main objective of the magazine is to open space for approaches from different areas of knowledge that take urban space as an object of study. “Rua” published, until 2008, 13 issues annually and in printed format, when it migrated to electronic format, becoming a biannual publication. Proposals for 2015 forums - The General Coordination of the University (CGU) will receive, until November 27th, proposals for Permanent Forums for the year 2015. They will be evaluated by a committee made up of professors and researchers from various areas of knowledge. The final result must be announced by December 19, 2014 and winners will be notified by email. Find out more at link.
