Funcamp (Unicamp Development Foundation) recently promoted the revitalization of the leisure area of the Casa do Professor Visitante (CPV), a space to host visiting professors, students and researchers. According to Funcamp's executive director, Professor Fernando Sarti, this is the first renovation carried out in the CPV's external space since its inauguration in 1996. The revitalized area includes a swimming pool, sauna, gym and gourmet space, in an environment with very green, he revealed. In addition to serving guests, the space will be made available to the Unicamp community to hold events.
Last Wednesday (14) a ceremony took place in the space to inaugurate the new area. Participants, in addition to the executive director; the rector José Tadeu Jorge; the general coordinator of the University, Alvaro Penteado Crósta, who is president of the Funcamp Board of Trustees; the head of the Rector's Office, Paulo Cesar Montagner; the coordinator of the Communication Secretariat at Unicamp, professor Júlio Cesar Hadler Neto, and the deputy executive director of Funcamp, Watson Loh.
