The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) begins administering the tests for the second phase of the Unicamp 2017 Entrance Exam this Sunday, January 15th. The tests will be held on three consecutive days (15, 16 and 17) in 18 cities: Bauru, Brasília, Campinas, Guarulhos, Jundiaí, Limeira, Mogi Guaçu, Piracicaba, Presidente Prudente, Registro, Ribeirão Preto, Santo André, Santos, São Carlos, São José do Rio Preto, São José dos Campos, São Paulo and Sorocaba. The test will start at 13 pm, but candidates are advised to arrive early. 15.390 candidates are approved for the second phase. All successful candidates must take all the tests in the second phase, regardless of the course chosen.
Timetables
The guideline is for candidates to arrive at the test location at 12 noon, as access to the test locations will be allowed from 12:30 pm and until 13 pm at all times. Leaving home in advance is important, considering that the candidate may encounter heavy traffic in some places. Comvest advises candidates to travel to the test location before the day of the exam, to know the route.

Comvest emphasizes that candidates should pay attention to the published test locations, as they will not necessarily be the same ones where the candidate took the first phase. In addition to the locations, there is also a change of city as indicated in the table below:
Second stage
In the second phase, the duration of the tests is four hours. The second phase consists of identical tests for all candidates, with essay questions. Each test consists of six questions, with the exception of the Essay. The tests have the following distribution:
- Writing test (consisting of two text proposals to be developed by the candidates) and Portuguese Language and Portuguese Language Literature test, on the first day (15/1/2017);
- Geography test, History test and Mathematics test, on the second day (16/1/2017);
- Biology test, Chemistry test and Physics test, on the third day (17/1/2017).
What to bring to the test
In the second phase, candidates must bring the original identity document indicated in the application, a black pen on transparent material, a black pencil and an eraser. The use of a transparent ruler and compass will be permitted. On the first day of the second phase, in addition to the material already mentioned, the candidate must bring a 3x4 photo taken in 2016 or 2017, with their name and registration number noted on the back. The use of cell phones or any other electronic equipment, digital watches, liquid correction fluid, mechanical pencil, highlighter pen, bandana/scarf, cap, hat, or other foreign proof materials is prohibited. The candidate may use a watch to keep track of time, but all watches must be placed on the floor, next to the desk. Comvest will provide packaging in which the candidate must keep the cell phone turned off. Upon entering the exam room and receiving the package, the candidate must immediately turn off their cell phone and place it in the package. Candidates must remove their cell phones from their packaging after leaving the building. Allowed: water, juices, sweets, shorts and light clothing.

The Specific Skills tests, for the Architecture and Urbanism, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Dance courses, will be held in Campinas between January 23rd and 26th, 2017. The first call will be announced on February 13th and those selected in this call They must register non-face-to-face (via the internet) on February 14th or 15th, exclusively on the Comvest website, using a specific form.
This year, 67.143 candidates took the first phase test, held on November 20th. 3.330 places are offered in 70 undergraduate courses at Unicamp. Comvest registered 73.489 applicants for the 2017 Unicamp Entrance Exam.
