Purple Day for Epilepsy takes place on Sunday, the 26th, with a diverse program

 

Every year, on March 26th, Purple Day for Epilepsy is celebrated, with several awareness actions about this serious neurological disease, which affects around 1% of the world's population. The Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM) participates in the campaign proposed by the Anita Kaufmann International Foundation, with intense programming related to the theme, with scientific conferences, book launches, meetings for educators, competitions, and other scientific dissemination activities. At Unicamp, the activities are carried out by Cepid Brainn (Brazilian Institute of Neuroscien and Neurotechnology) from Fapesp, with the support of Health Assistance for Patients with Epilepsy (Aspe) and the Support Movement for People with Epilepsy of Campinas (MAPEC ).Wear purple you too!
