Companies invest R$59,6 million in research with Unicamp in 2016

The high quality of scientific production at the State University of Campinas arouses the interest of companies aware of the need to innovate to stay ahead in their markets and also to explore new niches. As a result, last year there was an increase in investments in research in collaboration with Unicamp. In 2016 alone, companies closed research partnerships with the university worth around R$59,6 million, according to the activity report from the Inova Unicamp Innovation Agency. The value more than doubles compared to the previous year, which was R$26 million.
