This Friday, July 28th, the current management of Unicamp completes 100 days. In a scenario of serious economic crisis, the central administration took and continues to take measures to guarantee the institution's budget balance. In addition to diagnoses and reviews of contracts and certifications, the team has been expanding dialogues with sectors of society and government to search for resources. In an interview with TV Unicamp this morning, rector Marcelo Knobel also discussed actions such as the approval of the principle of ethnic-racial quotas, university autonomy, partnerships with the productive sector, among other issues. “We are protagonists in higher education. So maintaining excellence and quality in a time of crisis and questioning of the public university is challenging”, summarizes the professor. Check out the article:
