“I'm always flying at Unicamp. I’m there every week, my favorite place to take drone photos.” The description is by photographer Carlos Bassan, a professional in the field for over 40 years. It was with a Phantom Drone that he took photos of the Unicamp night area, provided to the University. In the foreground are the Cesar Lattes Central Library and the Academic Board building. The image gets lost in the immensity of the city, showing the grandeur of the best University in Latin America, according to the THE ranking.
Carlos Bassan has been a photographer since 1975. In his professional career he has followed “thousands of events, from the saddest to the most unusual”, as he likes to say. Winner of the Fundação Feac de Campinas Award five times, among others. He participated in many photographic exhibitions and worked as a photographer for large companies such as Sotrec, CPFL, DPaschoal and Editora Abril. He is the author of the blog bybassan.blogspot.com.
