TV Unicamp (Secretariat of Communication) has just launched the second season of #BaúUnicamp, a series of programs with the aim of rescuing the university’s cultural and artistic moments, preserved in the collection. The editions feature Dominguinhos, Capital Inicial, Lobão, Gilberto Gil (with Jorge Mautner) and Hermeto Paschoal. Between the 80s and 90s, shows with renowned artists took place at the university within projects such as “Aquarela do Brasil” and “Turnê Universitária”, the latter with support from Banco do Brasil. The work, developed by the TV Unicamp Production team, in partnership with the Archive, involved graphic arts, video production, content research, selection of excerpts and, especially, processing of images, still produced on VHS.
The programs air on Net channel 10, at different times throughout the week (see more) and are also on the playlist on Communication Secretariat channel on Youtube:

Dominguinhos opens the series of shows
The singer and accordion player Dominguinhos, who died in 2013, was at Unicamp's Multidisciplinary Gymnasium in 1986. The performance featured a special participation by Guadalupe Mendonça, also a singer and, at the time, the artist's wife. Classics of baião, forró and xote are performed by one of the greatest instrumentalists in Brazilian popular music to a packed audience at the university.
