The Public Ministry of Labor (MPT), in partnership with the Regional Labor Court (TRT) of the 15th Region, promotes, this Tuesday (3), at 17 pm, in the auditorium of the headquarters building, the official delivery of a guide of R$ 31,57 million to the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), as part of the compensation for collective moral damage, resulting from the public civil action proposed in 2007 by the Public Ministry of Labor and institutions representing former employees of chemical companies active in the municipality of Paulínia. The money will be managed by the Health Area Foundation (Fascamp) for the creation of the Institute of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Unicamp.
The guide worth R$ 31,57 million will be delivered by the president of the TRT of the 15th Region, judge Fernando da Silva Borges Borges, to the doctor and head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM) at Unicamp, Agricio Nubiato Crespo, and technical director of the project proposed by the Health Area Foundation (Fascamp) and implemented by the University.
