Registration begins for exemption from the 2019 Entrance Exam

The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) receives, from this Friday, April 20th, requests for exemption from the registration fee for the 2019 Unicamp Entrance Exam. Requests must be made until May 21st, exclusively online, at Comvest page. To complete the process, the candidate must send the necessary documentation (described in the Notice), by mail, to Comvest by May 22nd. The lack of any document and/or submission after the deadline excludes the candidate from the process.

Exemptions from the Unicamp Vestibular registration fee are offered in three modalities: 1- for candidates from low-income families (up to a minimum wage and a half gross monthly por resident of the household); 2- Unicamp/Funcamp employees; It is 3- for those who apply for Bachelor's degree courses in the evening (Biological Sciences, Physics, Literature, Integrated Degree Chemistry/Physics, Mathematics and Pedagogy).

The prerequisites are: having completed high school in public education institutions (does not apply to modality 3); be resident and domiciled in the State of São Paulo and have already completed or will complete high school in 2018. Comvest offers 6.680 exemptions in modality 1; 100 in modality 2 and an unlimited number of exemptions in modality 3.

The list of students those granted the exemption will be announced on July 23. Also from this date, recipients will begin to receive – exclusively via email – a communication that they have benefited. Important: Candidates are not automatically enrolled in the Unicamp 2019 Entrance Exam. They must subsequently register for the entrance exam, using the exemption code provided by Comvest. To register for the Unicamp Entrance Exam, exempt candidates must use a specific form.

The complete calendar with registration and exam dates for the 2019 Unicamp Entrance Exam will be released in April, on the page www.comvest.unicamp.br.

Exemptions last year
In the Unicamp 2018 Entrance Exam, 8.653 candidates who requested the Exemption and met the necessary requirements to receive the benefit were exempt from paying the registration fee. Comvest received 9.934 applications.
