A Netflix series that became a game to learn algebra, a tangram challenge, a wooden panel that can be handled to teach integers and areas of geometric figures. These are some examples of activities at the Science and Mathematics Exhibition, held in the lobby of the Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Scientific Computing (IMECC), on April 20th. Around 1050 basic education children, accompanied by their teachers, came from the cities of Campinas, Hortolândia, Itatiba, Limeira, Paulínia and Sumaré to present work. In addition to 60 posters, the space featured practical activities, monitors with technologies and a lot of exchange of experiences. The event is the result of workshops promoted last October by the Study and Research Group in Mathematics Education, at the Faculty of Education (FE) as part of the actions of the National Science and Technology Week (SNCT).
