The 14th edition of Unicamp de Portas Abertas (UPA) will be held again on May 19th, a Saturday. So far, more than 40 thousand students from different cities have already signed up to follow the activities, which will take place from 9 am, only on the Barão Geraldo campus, in Campinas. Registration for groups linked to schools has already closed, but individual visits do not need to be scheduled in advance, just attend Unicamp on the day of the event, which is free.

Visits from more than 41 students are already planned, enrolled in groups across 661 schools and pre-university courses. In addition to future college students from the state of São Paulo, this year's UPA has applications from young people from Acre, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul, Bahia, Paraná and the Federal District. Almost a thousand buses and vans are expected to bring participants registered in groups to Unicamp. Among the groups previously registered, there are 25 linked to pre-university courses, 216 normal public schools and 36 public technical schools.
The reception for visitors will be held in the Convention Center, close to the Faculty of Physical Education entrance, and with easy access via municipal and intercity bus lines. Parking for visitors will be free.
For those who are spending the day, the UPA will have food courts set up for visitors, with different types of food options and prices. The squares will operate in the Gymnasium parking lot, in the Basic Cycle and in front of the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
There will be free internal transport throughout the day, provided by circular buses connecting the teaching and research units. In all places with programming there will be monitors to indicate and monitor visitors.
It is now available to participants of this edition the UPA application, which will facilitate access and movement around the various units with programming using maps. The application is available on Android and IOS platforms.
Some of the new features starting this year will be the UPA in schools programs, where representatives from different courses will be able to carry out scheduled visits to interested schools, presenting students with specific topics related to each career and answering questions, and the UPA in Units, which should offer students high school students guided visits to the facilities of Unicamp faculties and institutes, by prior appointment.
