The III Regional Conference on Higher Education for Latin America and the Caribbean (CRES 2018), held between June 11 and 14 this year in Córdoba (Argentina), released its final declaration. O document calls on “women and men in America to fight for radical change towards a more just, democratic, egalitarian and sustainable society” in the face of “dizzying changes occurring in the region and in the world in crisis.” Present at the conference, the rector of Unicamp, professor Marcelo Knobel, was invited to speak about “Technological innovation and socio-productive development”.
