Research identifies stress factors in five professional categories

The aim of this work is to present the application of a new instrument in Brazil, which uses a qualitative and quantitative method to identify and diagnose the main psychosocial components that can be considered primary factors of work stress. 371 call center company agents participated in the survey; 281 nurses, technicians and nursing assistants from the Sumaré State Hospital, São Paulo; 168 community health agents from UBS in the municipality of Parnaíba, Piauí; 240 bank branch employees; and 1.224 industry workers.
