Unicamp publishes the second call for the Indigenous Entrance Exam

The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) is publishing the list of those approved in the second call for the 2019 Indigenous Entrance Exam. The list has eight candidates. second call registration must be carried out on the Comvest website (www.comvest.unicamp.br), until the day February 11th, at 18 pm (Brasília time).

If there are vacancies, Comvest will publish the third call on February 13, for registration, online, until February 18th (until 18 pm).

IMPORTANT: All candidates who complete electronic registration following the first three calls must be at Unicamp, on the Campinas campus, to complete the registration process. in-person registration confirmation on February 20, from 9 am to 12 pm. Those who do not confirm their enrollment will be excluded from the 2019 Indigenous Entrance Exam and new calls will be made to fill open vacancies.

A fourth call, if necessary, will be released by Comvest on February 20th, to in-person registration on February 25th, from 9 am to 12 pm. A fifth call, if necessary, will be announced on March 13th, for in-person registration on March 18th.

Important: candidates who have not yet submitted the original copy of the Declaration of Ethnicity and Link with the Indigenous Community (which was sent in a digitized format during registration) should do it at the time of confirmation of enrollment or in-person enrollment.

The Unicamp 2019 Indigenous Entrance Exam test was administered on December 2nd in five cities across the country: Campinas (SP), Dourados (MS), Manaus (AM), Recife (PE) and São Gabriel da Cachoeira (AM). 354 candidates took the test.

The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) is publishing the list of candidates approved in the third call in the Unicamp 2019 Olympic Vacancies modality. 25 called up. The modality is one of the possibilities to join Unicamp from this year 2019. Those approved must register, exclusively online, on the Comvest website, until 18pm (Brasília time) on February 6th. The fourth call will be announced on the day February 11.

The call for registration will be made in up to four calls per course, which will be published on the Comvest website. Enrollment will be carried out in two stages: first three registrations will be virtual, carried out on the Comvest page and, the fourth registration, in person, in Campinas, at the course’s main unit. All candidates who complete virtual registrations shouldalso register in person, on the day February 18and after, confirm registration in person on the day February 25. 

Unicamp opened the Olympic Vacancies modality for the first time this year and offered 90 vacancies, in 22 course options. Participating in the process are students who are medalists or have excellent performance in high school knowledge competitions, such as the Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Robotics Olympiads, among others. 285 students are enrolled in the modality and each one was able to take up to two course options (1st and 2nd option).

How is the classification

In each course, candidates are invited in descending order of score obtained in the olympiad or knowledge competition, for the course in 1st option, according to the rules of the Notice. If there are unfilled vacancies, candidates who chose the course as their 2nd option will be called in descending order.

If there are unfilled vacancies after the four registrations, these will be transferred to the Unicamp 2019 Entrance Exam, except in the Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering and Production Engineering courses, which offer additional vacancies.

Candidates running in more than one entry system, you must pay attention to the rules for calling in the Olympic Vacancies modality:

1) The call/enrollment (virtual or in-person) in the Olympic Vacancies process does not eliminate the candidate from the other processes, if they are participating, unless the course in which they were called in the Olympic Vacancies modality coincides with the first option course in another process.

2) If the candidate is invited to a course in one of the processes, he or she will not be invited to the same course in other processes, even if he or she has not enrolled.
