Unicamp statement
Unicamp's Central Administration announces that academic and administrative activities on the Barão Geraldo campus will be suspended from 12 noon this Tuesday (30), due to an electrical outage at the University Restaurant (RU).
As soon as it was informed about the electrical outage, the Central Administration took all necessary measures to carry out the repair, aiming to guarantee the supply of meals. However, given the severity of the problem, the repair will only be completed within 24 hours. Given this situation, and taking into account the large number of meals served (around ten thousand at lunch and five thousand at dinner), the suspension of activities became necessary, on the Barão Geraldo campus, to avoid major disruptions to the internal community. .
All activities in the health area are maintained at the Unicamp Technical College (Cotuca) and at the Multidisciplinary Center for Chemical, Biological and Agricultural Research (CPQBA). All activities on the Limeira and Piracicaba campuses are also maintained.
Service in the UK will resume on May 2nd, Thursday.
