The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) decided to extend the deadline for requests for exemption from the registration fee, which will be valid for both the Unicamp 2020 Entrance Exam and the Enem-Unicamp 2020 modality. Requests can be made exclusively online, on the Comvest page (www.comvest.unicamp.br) until next Monday, May 13th. A new feature, starting this year, is that the supporting documentation (described in the Notice) must be attached to the registration form itself and no longer sent by post. Comvest prepared a tutorial to send the files, which is available on the registration page. Another new feature is that candidates from all over the country will be able to request the exemption and not just those residing in the state of São Paulo, as was the case until last year.
Exemptions from the Unicamp Vestibular registration fee are offered in three modalities: 1- for candidates from low-income families (up to one and a half gross monthly minimum wage per household resident); 2- Unicamp/Funcamp employees; It is 3- for those who apply for undergraduate courses in the evening (Biological Sciences, Physics, Literature, Integrated Degree Chemistry/Physics, Mathematics and Pedagogy).
The prerequisites are: having completed high school in full at public education institutions (does not apply to modality 3) and having already completed or completed high school in 2019. Comvest offers 6.680 exemptions in modality 1; 100 in modality 2 and an unlimited number of exemptions in modality 3.
The list of students recipients with the exemption will be disclosed July 24. Also from this date, recipients will begin to receive – exclusively via email – a communication that they have benefited. Important: Recipients are not automatically enrolled in the Unicamp 2020 Vestibular and/or Enem-Unicamp 2020. They must subsequently register, using the exemption code provided by Comvest.
The calendar with registration and exam dates for the Unicamp 2020 Entrance Exam has already been released and is available on the page www.comvest.unicamp.br. Registration will take place from August 1st to September 6th. Enem-Unicamp 2020 registrations will take place in November.
Exemptions last year
In the Unicamp 2019 Entrance Exam, 7.673 candidates who requested the Exemption and met the necessary requirements to receive the benefit were exempt from paying the registration fee. Comvest received 8.978 applications.
