The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) begins, on August 26, 2019, registration for the Open Selection Process for the Remaining 2020 Vacancies at the University. Registration can be made until September 6th, exclusively on the Comvest website: www.comvest.unicamp.br. The registration fee will be 180,00 reais. The vacancies offered will be announced on August 20th. Students regularly enrolled in undergraduate courses at Unicamp can enroll in the process, as long as the intended course is different from their own course (exceptional cases will be judged by the CCG), students from other national or foreign HEIs and holders of a duly recognized diploma from higher education course different from the intended course. Information about the approval criteria for each course is now available on the Comvest website.
The Process will be carried out in two phases of an eliminatory and classificatory nature and a third phase for candidates for courses that require evidence of Specific Skills. The two phases are: Text Reading and Interpretation Test (PLIT) and Specific Knowledge Test (PCE) relating to major areas of knowledge and Curriculum Compatibility Analysis. In addition to these two phases, there are Specific Skills tests (carried out together with candidates for the Unicamp Entrance Exam) for the following courses: Architecture and Urbanism, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Dance and Music.
The Text Reading and Interpretation Test (PLIT) and the Specific Knowledge Test (PCE), mandatory for all candidates, will be held on October 6th. The Text Reading and Interpretation Test will consist of 10 objective reading and interpretation questions, 6 questions in Portuguese and 4 questions in English. The menus will be included in the Notice, to be published soon. The Specific Knowledge Test will consist of 10 objective questions and five essay questions (with two items each), relating to the specific area of the course (Human Sciences/Arts or Exact/Technological Sciences or Biological Sciences or Medicine). PCE questions will address basic knowledge of specific areas required in the initial years of graduation. The candidate has a maximum of four hours and a minimum of two hours and thirty minutes to complete the two tests.
Candidates will be ranked in descending order based on the grades obtained in PLIT and PCE. For the Curriculum Compatibility Analysis, a number of candidates will be called that is equivalent to a maximum of three times the number of vacancies available on the course. Those selected must submit the required documentation, between the 4th and 8th of November, at the DAC (Academic Board), in Campinas. The Curriculum Compatibility Analysis is the responsibility of the Undergraduate Committee of the intended course and will occur through the issuance of a reasoned opinion.
The list of those called for enrollment (courses without Specific Skills tests) will be published on January 10, 2020. For candidates for places in courses that also require Specific Skills tests, the list will be published on January 6, 2020. February XNUMX.
